This conference will assemble researchers, industry, academicians and practitioners concerned with condition assessment and nondestructive evaluation (NDE/NDT) of highways and bridges. In an informal conference setting, participants and presenters will discuss innovative new NDE/NDT technologies, best practices for applying existing technologies, and significant challenges faced by owners trying to assess the nation's infrastructure. The conference is designed to promote the exchange of information among researchers, practitioners and infrastructure owners on the application of NDE/NDT technologies for the condition assessment of the highways and bridges. The presentations and the exhibits will expose state transportation officials, consultants and contractors to the state-of-the-art in NDE/NDT methods and educate them on available technologies and emerging research. The conference will educate NDE/NDT practitioners and researchers on the most difficult problems faced by state transportation agencies.
