	The International Symposium on Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics (ISEM) is a well known international forum on applied electromagnetics. It started in 1988 in Japan and since then was held in Japan six times, and once in Korea, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy. The last ISEM was in Tokyo in May 2001. The 11th ISEM will take place from 12 to 14 May 2003 at the "Palais des Congrès" (Convention Palace), in Versailles, France.
