Duties shall consist of (but not limited to):
Responsibility for other NDT technicians
Responsibility for maintenance and revision of all written NDT procedures
Responsibility to attend the tri-annual ASME renewal audit
Responsibility for the training and certification of NDT technicians
Responsibility for the daily NDT operations
It would be desirable to be an AWS QC1 Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Responsibility for other NDT technicians
Responsibility for maintenance and revision of all written NDT procedures
Responsibility to attend the tri-annual ASME renewal audit
Responsibility for the training and certification of NDT technicians
Responsibility for the daily NDT operations
It would be desirable to be an AWS QC1 Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Skills:
Applicant must be certified as an ASNT Level II in the following disciplines:
Radiographic Testing
Ultrasonic Testing
Magnetic Particle Testing
Liquid Penetrant Testing
Applicant must have a working knowledge of the following codes of construction:
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Sections I, V and Section VIII, Division 1
ASME B1.1 Power Piping
ASME B31.3 Process Piping
Applicant must be willing to travel to field sites for NDT operations (UT).
