for the following positions globally:
AUT Operators
The AUT Operator evaluates structural flaws in girth-welds using the information supplied
from the ultrasonic scan. Calibration standards are applied for the evaluation using a
computer interface. The AUT Operator directs the Scanner Technician to make adjustments
to the ultrasonic set-up to maintain continuity. Training will be provided.
Scanner Technicians
The Scanner Technician provides an interface for the AUT Operator who conducts ultrasonic
scans of girth-welds. He makes adjustments to the ultrasonic scanner head as instructed by
AUT Operators to ensure recognized standards are met. Scanner head maintenance and
troubleshooting is required using mechanical skills. Training will be provided.

Skills:




Qualifications:
ACCP(US), CGSB(Can), PCN(UK), AINDT(Aus) Certifications Required. ASNT Certifications will be considered.
Mechanical Engineer or Electronic Engineering Technologist is a plus.
Strong mechanical or electronic skills.
Manual Hand Scanning skills.
Technical report writing and computer skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Extensive international travel and your ability to work offshore are requirements of the job.
