Seeking CWI/NDT Quality Assurance Inspectors
CALTROP Corporation is currently seeking AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) with structural steel fabrication experience to conduct Quality Assurance (QA) inspections and non destructive testing on bridge components in China, Korea, Japan, and the UK. This position is in support of a Department of Transportation bridge construction program.
Pay is based upon previous experience and level of certification obtained in accordance with Caltrop’s written practice. Excellent benefit package is available.

American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with specific AWS D1 code experience performing QC/QA on structural steel welds (AWS D1.5 experience is a plus).
Documented evidence of certification, experience, and training confirming ability to meet certification criteria of ASNT SNT-TC-1A for Level II in MT, RT, and UT is required. Advanced ultrasonic training and experience (PAUT and flaw sizing) are highly desirable. ASNT ACCP Level II or Level III’s are also a plus.
Fluent in English required in addition to basic computer skills for daily reports [Word, Excel, & Outlook].
International work requires valid passport, and background check for VISA application.
