World leader who delivers nuclear innovations and manufacturing capabilities to commercial and government customers is seeking to hire a Senior NDT Engineer.
The successful candidate will perform engineering functions to support NDT inspection, personnel and equipment qualifications; support NDT development work and generate reports; troubleshoot equipment problems; and resolve technical issues.
Should be capable of establishing contact and immersion ultrasonic (UT) nondestructive inspection and measurement techniques and associated operating procedures, interpreting codes, standards, specifications, and contract technical requirements. Experience with phased array UT technology is a plus.
The individual should have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication and production technology to establish inspection and monitoring techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria.

Skills:
Degree in Engineering a plus
Ability to qualify as MIL-STD-2132 Ultrasonic Test Examiner.
General familiarity with other NDT methods including laser profilometry, liquid penetrant, and radiography.
Proficient in eddy current (ET) inspection methods.
Excellent computer, communication, writing, and mechanical skills are also required
