Our client is a multi-billion dollar third party inspection company who is expanding its API inspection department in Southeast.
As an API 653 Inspector you will perform visual and nondestructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with the API and ASME standards.
The successful candidate will submit to client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition. Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client.
Provide technical input to client as required for welding and metallurgical issues. Provide technical guidance, on an application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
Must have a technical background in NDT methods and procedures and demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
Willingness to travel locally and work overtime as necessary.
