We are currently seeking a highly motivated Final/NDT Inspector to join our team. This person will be responsible for insuring the quality of the product of services provided to the customer through the performance and documentation of all required inspections and testing.
Seeking candidates able to handle highly complex tasks uncovering and resolving problems associated with the analysis and development of inspection & testing specifications. Prefer candidates with experience reviewing shop orders and production prints to determine testing and inspection parameters. Must have experience with the set-up, calibration and operation of various non-destructive testing instruments used to verify steel integrity and grade. Other duties of the position include; magnetic particle and dye penetrant inspection, checking final hardness & dimensional inspection of forgings and operation of Spectro Analysis Unit and Niton Analyzer to verify chemistry of forgings. Successful candidate must be able to communicate equipment and product problems to supervisor, work safely in production environment, conduct safety observations and perform general material handling and housekeeping duties.

Skills:
Prefer a minimum of 5 year's experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Inspection within the Aerospace & Defense field. Require previous experience & knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing/Inspection. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with Fork Trucks, Overhead Cranes, Grinders, Liquid Penetrant, Micrometers, Calipers, Tape Measures, Magnetic Particle Testers, Ultrasonic Scopes, Optical Emission Spectrometers and Blue Print reading.
