BRADKEN’S Tacoma Machine Shop has an immediate position available for Fitter-Welder.

Chosen candidate will have the responsibility of fitting and welding per blueprints, technical instructions and specifications within customer requirements. Essential functions of the job are to fit, weld and fabricate steel and stainless steel parts according to specs. Job requirements also include participating in special activities, projects and programs in order to support Bradken’s safety, quality and productivity goals or other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum of 4 years experience as a Fitter/Welder required. Must be able to read blue prints, interpret work instructions & customer specs and able to weld out of position and construct parts. Experience welding steel & stainless steel w/GMAW, FCAW, SMAW & GTAW is required. Welding aluminum w/GTAW & GMAW preferred. High School Diploma preferred. Individuals must be self motivated and able to work independently or in a team environment. This position is physically demanding. Individual must be available for 2nd shift as well as all other shifts.
