Growing and expanding corporation with multiple facilities is searching for a Plant Manager to lead their world class manufacturing operation. This position reports to an off site VP of Manufacturing and manages the daily operations of their Rockford facility. Our client offers great benefits along with a generous incentive bonus program. The Plant Manager will need a team orientated management style, strong planning and strategic planning skills, project management, continuous improvement, advanced problem solving skills, basic production machining process experience, financials and focus on customer service. The ideal candidate will have 5 years minimum of experience in Plant / Manufacturing Management in a fast paced machining environment. This position is responsible for plant metrics, throughput, efficiencies, ensuring project levels are maintained, production systems, associate motivation / development, safety, continuous improvement and on time delivery of quality products. Candidates with a technical machining background are strongly preferred. This plant has a variety of multi spindle automatic screw machines, broaching, rotary transfer machining and secondary machine tools. They also have metal finishing and assembly operations. Experience leading teams to launch new products, justifying capital equipment and implementing Lean manufacturing activities. Strong production systems knowledge is needed and the ability to adjust or improve systems to manage growth is a huge plus. Candidates with experience managing operation in a high growth environment is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with the ability to work with associates at all levels. Good computer skills, MRP / ERP systems is needed. This division is busy and has many opportunities to continue to grow.

MUST HAVE: 5 years plus of Operations / Plant Management, strong problem solving, planning, leadership, production systems, financials and basic understanding of production machining processes. We are looking for a data driven leader with past experience managing a minimum of 75 associates in a team orientated environment.
