We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support new product launches and continuously improve new processes. We are searching for candidates with 5 plus years of process development and cnc programming. Candidates will need a Bachelors, Associate degree or more than 10 years of cnc multi axis lathe experience. Knowledge of swiss cnc lathes is a must. Candidates will need experience with Star, Citizen, Tsugami, Nomura, Tornos Deco, Hanwha and/or other brands of swiss cnc lathe experience. Strong programming skills developing cnc code using cam software or programming manually is a must.

The Manufacturing Engineer will work from a 3-D model and will need good Gd&T experience. Past experience selecting equipment, calculating cycletimes, developing cutting tool packages, tool design, cnc programming and creating work instructions is the main focus of the position. The Manufacturing Engineer will specify guide bushing, collets and machine tool accessories. Experience with multi axis swiss type cnc lathes with live tooling and the ability to develop and improve processes is a must. Interested candidates should be familiar with thread whirling, milling, drilling, cross drilling, deburring and surface finishing processes. Knowledge of writing macro programs and modifying post processors is a plus. Experience implementing lean manufacturing, SMED, and continuous improvement techniques is a plus. Candidates with medical device and exotic alloy experience are preferred.

MUST HAVE: either a degree and 5 years of experience or 10 years of on the job experience creating swiss turn cnc lathe processes and cnc programs. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a must. Interested candidates will need direct experience on swiss cnc lathes / sliding headstock lathes / swiss type screw machines.
