A long time successful manufacturer of screw machine components is busy and expanding. They have many opportunities for new business and actively launching new components. Due to the increasing business conditions, they are searching for a Production Supervisor to support their Acme screw machine department. We are searching for a technical supervisor with the ability to resolve machining problems. Interested candidates will need past set up experience, ability to troubleshoot, repair and resolve tooling issues. Past experience working with National Acme screw machines with a good background using all the common attachments is needed. Candidates will need a minimum of 7 years of screw machine set up experience and 4 plus years of supervision experience. This is a first shift position open due to the promotion of their valued employee into engineering. The Production Supervisor will guide, direct and lead 25 plus employees in a high change over screw machine environment The ideal candidate will need strong management and motivational skills. This position requires follow upon set ups, cutting tools, throughput, up time and on time delivery. Strong planning and communication skills is a must. MUST HAVE: 7 years of Acme Gridley multiple spindle screw machine experience and 4 plus years of supervision.. Candidates will need hands on problem solving and machine troubleshooting experience. Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead, guide and direct a highly skilled workforce.
