A division of an international corporation producing engine and transmission components is searching for a Manufacturing Manager to lead their world class team. This corporation is well into their lean journey and have a clean, organized and modern plant. This facility is filled with a variety of high technology machine tools and automation. Our client invested several million dollars in new equipment as they continue to grow. This company is a innovative industry leader and are the envy of their competitors. They have fantastic benefits, career opportunities, incentives and retirement plan. This organization employs many associates with 15 to 20 years of service. They have extremely low turn over. Their goal is to hire the top associates in their industry and will relocate associates.

We are searching for a process oriented leader to guide, direct and motivate their team. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, production throughput, project management, continuous improvements, new product launches, monitoring production metrics, budgeting, OEE, quality, safety, and on-time delivery. This manager will lead manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, supervisors, maintenance and production associates. Knowledge of APQP and the ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve customer satisfaction is needed. Experience leading lean activities to improve flow, efficiencies, set up times, production throughput, cost and systems is strongly preferred. Strong problem solving skills using advanced methods and six sigma tools is a must. The ideal candidate will need solid planning skills and the ability to adapt to changing customer requirements. Strong communication skills, vision and goal setting is needed. Interested candidates will need production machining experience and should be process orientated. Experience working around production cnc lathes, machining centers, transfer machines, grinding, spline rolling, multi tasking machines screw machines, broaching and a variety of specialized machine tools is strongly preferred. High volume production machining experience is a must. The Manufacturing Manager will hire, train, review, promote, terminate, discipline and motivate the team of associates.

MUST HAVE: 7 plus years of Manufacturing Management, production machining, production planning, continuous improvements, TS-16949, APQP, budgeting and strong leadership skills. We will consider work experience and continuing education. Candidates with heavy machining or technical degrees are preferred.
