In this position the individual has responsibility for directing and controlling the quality and technial functions (within their assigned NDT areas) for compliance to internal and customer specifications. This involves overseeing inspections, training, personnel; performing audits, reviewing scrap, maintaining documentation and acting as primary focal point for internal and external communication in their assigned area(s). This job contributes to the plants overall performance by directing and controlling the NDT processes for compliance to the customer's specifications.

Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
BS in a technical field or equivalent experience
3-5 years NDT PT and RT Level III experience; aerospace experience a plus, other NDT certifications may be considered
Must meet all requirements of Level II position and possess Level III certification to NAS-410
Preferred Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of NDT inspection.
Sound knowledge of Quality systems.
Ability to communicate with inspectors on all shifts and keep records of results.
Ability to work with minimum supervison. Independent judgment is required.
Ability to step into supervisory role as needed/required.
Understanding of lean manufacturing practices.
Self-starter; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must pass annual Jaeger vision exam.
Requires travel and overtime with short notice.
