Creative Human Resources Concepts, LLC (CHRC) is currently recruiting for positions located in California within the Oil & Gas industry. Client is looking for applicants living in the area or willing to relocate.
NDT Instructor
JOB DESCRIPTION: Support the QA/QC department by providing training and
instruction to NDT personnel and new hires.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Present NDT materials in classroom and field settings conductive to
student learning.
• Develop and administer quizzes and examinations.
• Provide initial and refresher training for existing technicians.
• Conduct technical orientation sessions and on-the-job training for
technicians and new hires.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Skills:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• At least 10 years of experience in the field.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the
ability to maintain confidentiality
• Familiar with practices, concepts, and procedures related to the oil,
pipeline, chemical, and associated industries.
• Previously certified in RT, UT, MT, and PT as a minimum VT, ET, helpful.
NDT Level III’s required RT or UT.
• RSO experience helpful not required
• Interacts and works well with others (a team player).
• Has good computer (MS Office) and communication skills.
• Maintains a positive outlook even under stressful situations.
• Previous experience in conducting classroom instruction / training
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
• At least 5 years field experience in RT or UT Shear-wave as a lead
technician level III required
• IRRSP or equivalent required
• ASNT Level III in one or more disciplines required.
Any job offer is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, criminal and FBI background checks. NO FELONIES. Must have a clean driving record and provide a DMV record upon request. All qualified candidates for this position must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
SHIFT/HOURS: Mon-Fri – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. But must be able to work
50+ hours plus weekends.
PAY RATE: $45.00/hr. – Depending On Experience
