We seek high-performing and resourceful individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking a Non Destructive Testing Quality Assurance Specialist for our location in Camanche, IA.

This person will ensure material quality by means of manual and automated EMI, UT, WFMT and Visual examination for seamless casing and tubular manufacturing operations.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the evaluation of surface and tubular characteristics for the evaluation of compliance to API 5CT and 5L, i.e. dimensional requirements, ovality, wall thickness, eccentricity, surface condition, etc…
• Perform as an ASNT Level II in MT, UT, VT and ET (flux leakage)
• Perform daily process controls, calibration checks and maintain accurate records (logs) per quality program requirements
• General housekeeping and preventive maintenance are essential minimize contamination and for safe operation of equipment
• Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise with inspection equipment and data acquisition system
• Work with project team to keep inspection group well supplied with all necessary materials and equipment in proper working condition
• Maintain reporting in project documentation on a daily basis

Skills:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Level II certification in MT, PT and UT
• Solid leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of the NDT program for the mill
• Verifiable experience supervising NDT technicians or vendors
• 3+ years of NDT experience plus 1+ years as a Supervisor
• Previous experience within in a pipe mill environment or OCTG products is a plus

• Understand automated UT, MT and EMI inspection equipment

• Understand API 5CT and 5L requirements
