Project background:
Performing a chiller pipe thickness and general condition
survey in Houston, TX. The scope involves measuring pipe wall
thicknesses, which will include, coring the insulation/weather
barrier, measuring the wall thickness, installing a numbered
plug, making a simple excel spreadsheet of the measurements,
and providing a report assessing the conditions.
Per Diem: N/A must be local.
Work schedule: 40 works per week with possible 4-10's (not
decided yet)

Skills:
API570 piping inspector: Perform visual, choose thickness
measurement location points, write comments/observations in
a report, assist technician with setup/downloading of
thickness data.
UT Thickness Technician: <1 year experience - Prior NDT
Training is required.
Equipment - Olympus 37 DL+
Battery powered drill with hole saw to cut holes for
thickness measurements
Inspection Plugs that will be screwed into position and
labeled
