Provide day-to-day floor leadership and technical input to calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and to interpret, evaluate, and document results in accordance with RT/MT/UT procedures.
•Assign and direct employees in Radiographic processes based on the business unit and customer requirements, as it relates to safety, quality, personnel certification, production and delivery.
•Responsible for training and examining RT Level 1 and 2 personnel for certification in those methods
•Evaluate and maintain inventory levels, in-coming material and communicate shortfalls to the appropriate personnel.
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience to ensure qualification in Radiographic NDT. Certifiable to Level 3 per the requirements of XRI 2002 (NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A), i.e., 4 years as a Level 2 is required to qualify for Level 3 certification
