In this position you will be responsible to perform NDE inspections and to assist in the development of inspection techniques as well as assist in the growth of our Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) business in the PG and Aerospace fields. You will be required to travel to job sites and perform in-situ NDE inspections on Combustion and Steam turbines and Aerospace components as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Work with the VTS Level III to insure QA plan is
compliant with customer and published VTS policies
2. Suggest changes to and assist in the modifications of
new or present NDE procedures
3. Assist in the training of new field technicians
4. Identify new opportunities in the field and recommend
new solutions
5. Insure all time and expenses is submitted on time to
the proper approving level
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1. Completed a NDE certified training course that comply
with the classroom and OJT requirements established by
ASNT
2. ASNT Level II certifications in EC/UT/MT/PT.
3. Provide documents indication the completion of training
and experience hours in each method.
4. Test and qualify to Level II in the above methods
5. Able to climb onto gas turbine engines and aircraft
structures
6. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds of equipment
7. Experience in completing reports using work, Exel, and
other data bases
8. Travel to job site and completed all assigned jobs

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Completion of a certified AA Degree for an accredited NDE School
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience with recent experience supporting on-site inspection completion using the above methods of NDE.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office including proficiency in Excel and Word
Certificates and Licenses: ASNT and NAS -410 Level II in EC/UT/MT/PT,
Other Requirements: Aviation and/or Defense Industry experience a plus.
