Our client needs Level II Ultrasonic Technicians. They are a major supplier of aircraft components for the world leaders in both the military and commercial market.
As a Level II Ultrasonic Technician you will responsible for the operation of portable ultrasonic flaw detection equipment for through transmission and pulse-echo methods via automated scanning systems such as AUSS, and MAUS. Experience with phased array a plus .
Must have capability to clamp and fixture parts, operate systems, evaluate data, characterize indications and record results in a fast-paced, high production environment. Ultrasonic inspection experience in composites is highly preferred.
The successful candidate will have 1 to 3 years of Level II Ultrasonic experience
80 Hours of UT classroom training
Two year degree preferred, but not necessary
Knowledge of NAS410 codes and standards
Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
Intermediate Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
