Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Present NDT materials in classroom and field settings
conductive to student learning.
Develop and administer quizzes and examinations.
Provide initial and refresher training for existing
technicians
Conduct technical orientation sessions and on-the-job
training for technicians and new hires
Ensure training processes include education, training and
skills competency.
Develop training performance metrics and measure performance
on a regular basis.
Skills:
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma a must. Bachelor's degree preferred
in training or related field.
One (1) to Five (5) years of training experience in the
oilfield or related industry preferred.
ASNT Level III MT,UT, PT, and RT Certifications
preferred
Experience working with communications practices,
principles and procedures for both on-site and on-line
presentations.
Other Skills:
Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the
organization.
Ability to assess the training and development needs of
an organization and development associated improvement plans
and training process.
Understand the business implications of decisions; align
the training process with the strategic goals of the
company.
Basic comfort level with technology, including proficiency
with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing
systems.
Skilled in the use of audio-visual and personal computers
including office productivity and presentation software.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving
skills.
Ability to provide real world examples, applications and
methods.
Must possess and be able to demonstrate excellent
facilitation, teaching, presentation, written and listening
skills.
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to
adult-based learning.
