A growing and expanding division of a fortune 500 company located in the Carolina’s, continues to take market share. They service a wide range of markets and are very diversified. This division recently acquired one of their largest competitors. They are well into their Lean journey and looking to take the program to the next level.

Our client is looking for a Lean Site Leader or a advanced candidate who could lead 4 facilities in the division. The focus of this position is to take their Lean Six Sigma operating advantage system to a new level. This system ensures a safe work environment, drives quality improvements, provides premier customer service, develops qualified workforce and reduces operating cost, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvements in the operating advantage system. This position partners with either the site or division leader to oversee day to day activities meeting daily, monthly, quarterly and annual operational and financial goals. This position is responsible for developing and deploying the Lean Six Sigma operating advantage system throughout the site or division. The Operating Advantage System Site or Division Leader coaches site leadership teams in achieving site KPI’s. This position identifies strategic projects and corresponding rolling 12 month implementation plans that are aligned with the divisions strategic direction. This associate will foster the adoption of continues improvement as a way of life; creating a culture of change. The OAS site / division leader, works with the site leader to support the identification of production requirements ensuring the alignment with process departments (machining, molding, stamping, assembly, plating, packaging, etc.), needed capacity and priorities to achieve extended value stream goals, to develop and deploy appropriate planning and signalizing tools and methodologies. We are searching for a certified Lean / Six Sigma practitioner with a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Interested candidates should have knowledge of production, processes, logistics, engineering and business financials. Candidates will need a minimum of 2 years of experience leading Lean activities, strategic planning, managing projects, cycle from conception to closure including coordinating associates and operational resources. Past experience coaching, training and counseling operations. Support and management personnel and leading cross functional teams is needed.

MUST HAVE: a Bachelors degree, preferably in a technical field, 5 years of experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment, advanced Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training. We are searching for candidates who can demonstrate track record of planning, leading, implementing projects and developing metrics to measure results.
