Working with high energy radioactive isotopes, the NDT Technician will perform examinations and related activities such as radiography, ultrasonic examination, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle and Eddy current testing, in accordance with nationally accepted codes and specifications. Projects are typically located at fossil generating plants and natural gas pipelines along with other natural gas and electric facilities.
The position will require the individual to certify as an industrial radiographer and several other NDT test methods upon completion of training.
Qualified candidates must possess:
* Associates degree or equivalent in applied science
* Ability to work on extended out-of-town assignments and willingness to work significant overtime as necessary to meet job commitments
* Level II certifications/experience in NDT methods preferred but not required
* Knowledge of applicable industry codes desired
* Proficiency with MS Office applications and SAP applications
* A valid driver's license
