Desert NDT, a nondestructive testing business for over 30 years, is looking for Level II Technicians - Radiography for Williston, ND.

The Technician Level II - Radiography is responsible for performing various methods of NDT/NDE in the methods they are certified, detailing examination findings in report format, and interfacing with the customer representative(s). Emphasis is placed on quality of the work product and the efficiency of work execution.
Skills:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Actively participate in Company and Client safety programs
2. Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT/NDE tasks, in which they are certified, and interpret results of inspections
3. Set up and utilize various equipment
4. Ensuring strict adherence to industrial safety and health guidelines and our radiation safety program and regulations
5. Organize and report test results
6. Fill out daily inspection reports and documentation as required
7. Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
8. Adheres to the Company Code of Conduct
9. Complete time sheet and expense reports weekly
10. Complete Time and Material sheets

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS
1. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, crawling, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity, accommodation and color vision
2. Moving, carrying and lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds
3. Climbing and working off of ladders, stairs and scaffolding in excess of 100 feet continuously throughout shift
4. Be able to climb ladders and platforms up to 250 feet with a harness and lanyard
5. Be able to step up into vehicles or onto equipment
6. Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time
7. Working in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and cold
8. Work in and near industrial hazards
9. Be able to work outdoors in warm, hot and cold conditions
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Certified or Certifiable Level II in any of the NDT/NDE methods (i.e. RT, MT, PT, UT and VT) Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Program (IRRSP), agreement state card or card for radiography compliance
3. Knowledge of field NDT/NDE equipment
4. Basic computer skills, preferred
5. Knowledge in application and compliance requirements of regulatory codes (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry standards and recommended practices (API, NFPA, ASME, etc.) is preferred
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Works directly with clients on technical aspects of the projects and therefore must be able to communicate technical requirements and deliverables clearly and concisely.
