--Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments
at supplier’s facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications
and other PO requirements
--Verify part marking material certifications where required and inspect for
obvious defects/ damage

Skills:
Mechanical inspection
-Must have Marine or Military experience or over 5 years working with Mil-
standards.
-Knowledge of Mil-I45208A MILITARY SPECIFICATION: INSPECTION SYSTEM
REQUIREMENTS (16 DEC 1963) [NO S/S DOCUMENT]., This specification
establishes requirements for contractors' inspection systems. These
requirements pertain to the inspection and tests necessary to substantiate
product conformance to drawings, specification, and contact requirements
and to all inspections and tests required by the contract.
--Knowledge of Mil-Q 9858A--QUALITY PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS (16 DEC
1963) [NO S/S DOCUMENT]., This specification shall apply to all supplies
(including equipment’s, subsystems, and systems) or services when referenced
in the item specification, contract, or order
-Knowledge of special process- fabrication and weld
-Previous source inspection experience
-Strong hands-on mechanical inspection experience
-Demonstrated experience working with tight tolerances
-Recent hands-on inspection experience within the past 5 years
-Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5
-Strong understanding of, and experience with, GD&T
-Strong understanding of, and experience with, welding
-Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must
-Minimum 5 years precision mechanical inspection experience is required
-Minimum 5 years NDT inspection experience required
-Knowledge of weld defects and weld drawing symbols
-Experience with Nondestructive Testing in one or more of the following areas
of NDT (Non Destructive Testing): VT (visual testing), MT (magnetic particle
testing), PT (penetrant testing), RT (radiography testing), or UT (ultrasonic
testing).
Please note this program will/may require travel to the following locations:
Seattle, WA, Arizona, San Jose, Texas, Minnesota. Candidate should be okay
with last minute travel.
