NDT Inspector – Jacksonville, FL
We are looking for an experienced Nondestructive Testing
Inspector (NDT Inspector) for a growing company in
Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time, regular
position with good benefits. This is an hourly position
with some overtime expected.
Job Description:
Conducts NDT visual, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle and
/ or ultrasonic tests, records inspection results on quality
control records and forms, and submits reports to the
customer. Checks production work for adherence to NAVSEA
specifications on surface ship welds in structural and
piping systems.

Required Education and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years experience in NDT testing.
• Previous experience with NAVSEA standard items.
• Understanding and knowledge of ships drawings.
• Computer skills that include the use of Microsoft Office
programs.
• Non Destructive Testing Inspector Certifications in the
Visual, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and / or
Ultrasonic Methods.
• Prefer Level II certification in VT, PT, MT and UT.
• Previous shipyard experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Experience doing verification of tests and inspections,
developing Test and Inspection Plans, and reviewing records
for correctness.
