CDI Corporation is currently seeking a Digital Radiography Technician and Newark, Delaware.

The Level II Digital Radiography Technician will set-up and calibrate inspection equipment, prepare and process parts, execute digital radiography evaluations of composite components for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and document results in accordance with procedures approved by the appropriate Certifying Agent.

Required Schedule: 1st shift primarily, shift flexibility required

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
• Set up and perform such tests per the client's NDT procedures and analyze NDT data per associated client's quality requirements.
• Calibrating nondestructive testing equipment
• Conducting Digital Radiographic tests of composite components
• Interpreting digital radiographs
• Organizing and reporting test results

Skills:
• Candiate must be Level II certified in radiography and must maintain Level II certification per NAS 410 .
• Candidate must successfully complete internal training and an exam on fundamentals of Digital Radiography.
• Candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprint and engineering drawings and be able to document non-conformances as required
• Candidate must have basic computer skills and be able to use the MSOffice Suite of tools
• Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
• Candidate must have prior experience with NDE in a manufacturing, repair or military work environment.
• Candidate must have prior composite material inspection experience.
• Candidate must be located at the client's Newark Delaware facility.

Education / Degree Requirements:
• AA Degree and/or at least 2 years prior relevant work experience in a manufacturing operation or equivalent military experience with Non Destructive Testing.
