Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some College or two year Technical School Degree preferred
ASNT Level III in at least two of the methods above preferred
Knowledge with inspection codes ASME, AWS D1.1
Knowledge with EPRI Inspection Methods TR-104631

Compensation/Benefits:
Compensation includes a base salary plus bonus structure commensurate with candidate’s experience and demonstrated results matched to this specification. Benefits include medical, dental, paid time off and holiday pay.

Position Summary / Requirements:
MHT is seeking to employ a NDE Technician / Supervisor to support the NDE Services and Sales with technical support in the field as well as developing new business leads and following up on existing opportunities.
• 10+ years of field experience performing and/or applications knowledge of NDE methods (VT, MT, PT, UT, AUT)
• Applicant must have knowledge in the equipment failure mechanisms in the power generation industry and/or petro-chemical industries; preferably both
• Ability to answer technical questions and provide information to customers during closing of sales and write cost quotes
• Manage the QA/QC of the Inspection Reporting
• Manage / supervise and provide technical support of NDE operations in the field
• Recruit and manage NDE personnel as well as their required certifications per client specifications
• Maintain current NDE Code(s) Manuals, Procedures and Inspection Forms
• Maintain and acquire NDE equipment, inventory, certifications and licenses
• The candidate must be able to interprets drawings, piping isometrics and P&ID’s, interact professionally with client engineers and use strong interpersonal skills
• A working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and ACT! or similar client management software
• Local residency is mandatory
• Position requires travel, field work, office duties, trade events at industry functions and public marketing opportunities
