Mistras Group, Inc. is seeking fulltime Predictive Maintenance Technician to work on a fulltime basis in the Houston, TX area! These are resident on site positions at our clients' locations.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Conduct route based data collection and analysis.
Write detailed reports and communicate with clients.
Inplace dynamic balancing and laser alignment
Ability to trouble shoot machinery problems using various PdM Technologies.
Ability to conduct duel channel analysis is a plus.
Ability to generate reports in Microsoft Word.
Ability to Analyze Vibration data using AMS suite software.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to walk down plants establish a machinery list with pertinent data and build PdM databases
Must have a minimum Category I Vibration Certification from the Vibration Institute, Category 2 will be considered.
Level I Lubrication Certification, Level I Ultrasonics Certification or Thermography Certification would be a plus.
Knowledge of CSI Model 2130 Vibration Data Collector
Knowledge of Airborne Ultrasonic Test Unit
Must be able to perform Phase Analysis and Impact testing.
Familiar with CSI 4500/6500 system
Interpret and act on Oil Analysis reports
Understanding of goals/objectives for the Houston Area Operations reliability program.
Knowledge of rotating equipment to identify proper data collection locations for Vibration, Oil, Ultrasonics.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
