Iowa Steel Fabrication is a manufacturer of semi tanker
pressure vessels located in Osceola, Iowa. We are currently
seeking a Level II RT technician for a full time, long term
position in our facility. No travel is required. A
qualified candidate must be willing to relocate to the
Osceola, Iowa area. This is a great opportunity for an
experienced technician to set-up and supervise the
nondestructive testing requirements of a growing
organization.

The Technician will:

Set up and utilize state of the art x-ray and computed
radiography equipment primarily testing welds on new over
the road tankers

Support development and maintain compliance of radiation
safety program

Support other nondestructive testing and existing magnetic
particle testing programs

Evaluate and interpret results in accordance with current
editions of ASME standards section VIII

Report, document, and maintain test results

Train and mentor technicians and assistants

Skills/Requirements:
Minimum requirement: Certified or certifiable to Level II in RT
and possess X-Ray Radiation safety card

Other NDT certifications such as MT, PT, UT, CWI, and RSO
experience is preferred but not required

Good communication and organizational skills
