Sullivan & Associates Inc. is a corporation with headquarters in Ladson, South Carolina. We specialize in nondestructive testing and evaluations. We have been performing inspections in all industries for twenty years. We are currently seeking full time employees and contract inspectors for the following Charleston, SC positions:

Radiographic Level I Inspector
Radiographic Level II Inspector
Additional certifications are desirable but are not required.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

• Standing, walking,sitting,pushing,pulling,reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity, moving, carrying and lifting objects in excess of 65 lbs.,climbing and working off of ladders, stairs, and scaffolding at elevated heights.
• Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and cold.
• Work in and near industrial hazards.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in Gamma Radiography required.
• 40 hours Level I and 40 hours Level II training and 400/1600 hours of total NDT experience.
• Successfully pass a General, Specific, and Practical with a Composite Score of 80% or greater.
• Valid IRRSP or State card required.
• Pass a Jaeger 1 and Brightness Discrimination eye exam.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Drug and alcohol screens performed randomly.
