RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop program curriculum and teach in the field of nondestructive testing technology.
Provide classroom and lab instruction, evaluate student performance, advise students, recruit and promote the program, oversee needed lab equipment and instructional supplies.
Maintain appropriate professional and instructional credentials through professional development.
Participate in activities that provide service to the college and the community including committee assignments, promotion and outreach activities, co-curricular student activities and other needs within the department.
The applicant (the employee) should demonstrate a knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirement
Two year diploma in nondestructive testing technology.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in multi-discipline nondestructive testing.
Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree
Field experience as a certified Level II or III in multiple NDT disciplines and industries.
Level III ASNT certifications
Teaching or industry training experience.
Current IRRSP certification for gamma and X-ray radiography per MN rule 4731 & 4732.
Digital Radiography experience
Phased Array Ultrasonic experience
Excellent computer skills
