Level II UT Phased Array Operator

The Advanced Services Technician

Nederland Texas location

Will be performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests,
and evaluations for acceptance or rejection
determinations according to written instructions and
record results. Preferable Code Case Experience

Level II Technicians are qualified to set up and
calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results
with respect to applicable codes, standards, and
specifications.

Level II Technicians are thoroughly familiar with the
scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and
should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job
training and guidance of Assistants and Level I
Technicians.

Level II Technicians organize and report results of NDT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide supervision support; perform quality call out
inspections services as required on a daily basis,
customer service, inventory control of issued equipment,
compliant with all quality and safety procedures. You
will be responsible for assisting the Technical Manger in
the growth and development of Acuren's Advanced Services
Division. You must be willing to travel and reports for
all inspections must be turned in to customer upon
completion of the project. Other responsibilities
include:

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Calibrate Nondestructive Test equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect
discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Interpret and record results of inspections
• Assist Level II and III Technicians in performing NDT
procedures and other operations
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects
under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety
regulations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by
management

REQUIREMENTS:
Certification/experience in Phased Array, ToFD, is
required.
Preferable, experience with Focus LT and Tomoview
,proficient with weld rover
Successfully complete a criminal background check, drug
and alcohol screening test through DISA.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT
tasks and interpret results of inspections
Knowledge of NDT equipment
