We are currently accepting resumes for an NDE Level III:

POSITION SUMMARY: The NDE Level III is responsible for the certification of NDE personnel. This position ensures that NDE procedures are adequate and updated and performs audits as outlined in the QA/QC program. The Level III develops and/or revises special process and procedures as required. The NDE Level III reviews and evaluates interpreted results in terms of existing codes, standards, and specifications. The NDE Level III mentors and trains NDE Level I and II technicians.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Perform all NDE Technician Certification processes in a timely and consistent manner
• Ensure timely eye exams are performed where required by certifications
• Ensure NDE Procedures are adequate and necessary revisions are regularly updated
• Perform NDE audits as outlined in the QA/QC program
• Review NDE data to ensure proper data interpretations
• Ensure proper calibration of NDE equipment
• Develop and/or revise special process procedures as required
• Mentor and train NDE Level II and Level I technicians
• Assists QA/QC Program Manager during outside audits
• Initiate and/or assist with CARs and/or NCRs as appropriate
• Verify implementation of CARs, ensure no action items become overdue, and ensure timely closure of any open CARs and/or NCRs
• Ensure any non-conforming work or issue is stopped and/or controlled until proper disposition of condition has occurred
• Assists QA/QC Program Manager with updating and reporting KPIs’ as related to the QA/QC function
• Provide support to operational personnel in developing and revising site-specific procedures
• Lead by example in the flawless execution of Company’s HSE policies, the QA/QC program and all Mistras policies and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• At a minimum possess NDE Level III certifications in RT and UT; certifications in MT, PT, VT highly preferred
• Certification in API 570 and/or 653 is preferred
• At least 10 years inspection experience and at least 2 of those years performing as a Level III.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Advanced computer skills in the MS Office Suite.
• Possess exceptional communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.

We are seeking candidates that are willing to make a minimum 1-2 year commitment. This is a FULLTIME position with benefits. We are not seeking short term contractors. You are responsible for travel costs to and from Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK.
