Responsibilities:

NDT Global LLC, the fastest growing provider of in-line inspection services to the pipeline transportation industry, is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of a NDE technician.

Based in our Nisku, AB office (alternatively Houston, TX) and reporting to the Global Manager, Field Verifications, this role is responsible for verifications of in-line inspection results in North America. As part of NDT Global’s continuous improvement process, this position conducts NDE on pipelines, analyzes 3rd party NDE reports and communicates results to the data analysis and development departments.

The NDE technician will:

•Coordinate, conduct and document measurements on pipelines / test objects for ILI result verification
•Cooperate closely with product / technology leaders
•Communicate results to the data analysis and development departments
•Support the definition of standards and procedures for the collection, documentation, and storage of results
•Review opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies at the position level
•Other duties as assigned
Skills:
Job Requirements:

•Ultrasonic Testing certificate ASNT level 2 or greater
•Magnetic Particle Testing certificate level 2 or greater
•Five (5) years experience or more
•Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
•Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport
•Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
•Team player

Optional assets:

•Experience in in-line inspection or the pipeline industry
•Experience in pipeline integrity, phased array UT, radiography, eddy current, or visual testing
•Knowledge of applicable standards from ASME, NACE, API, ASNT, POF, and others
