Position Summary:
The Project Superintendent is responsible for the overall management and success of a multiple Inspection Services contract.  This person must have the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel in a team environment and will require approximately 60% travel both domestic and internationally.  This position is the primary interface with Client Management and Supervisors. 
Essential job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

-  Manage client relations; primary interface with Client Contract Management.
-  Manage contract performance and compliance. Monitor and manage contract performance, performance measurement and budgeting.
-  Ensure qualified personnel to perform contractual scope of work requirements, both programmatic and seasonal, are anticipated, recruited and acquired in a timely manner (in close collaboration with HR) and retained.  Qualify, procure and manage subcontractors as may be required.
-  Develop and manage teams, including supervision and technical expertise, and support assistance as required to conduct work in accordance with the contract.
-  Effectively implement programs and management systems for Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality.
-  Implement personnel policies. 
-  Proactively manage employee concerns or issues.
-  Oversee and complete regular performance appraisals on workforce as required. 
-  Manage personnel development, rewards and recognition and disciplinary actions.
-  Develop strategic and tactical work plans that meet both budget and technical requirements. Manage overhead/developmental cost while optimizing suppliers and existing resources.
-  Aid and assist in the management of new technological development for the company.
-  Participate in preparation of proposals for clients as required.
	        
	    
		    
		        Skills:
		    
		    
				Minimal Qualifications Required: 
- 5-year project coordinator experience or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing workforce
- Oil industry experience required (especially integrity management and inspection, coating, insulation and/or abatement)
- ASNT Certification in RT and UT 
- Proficient with computer usage especially in Microsoft office software applications 
- 2 years experience developing and managing budgets
Qualifications Preferred: 
- Radiation Safety training
- 5 years Program/Project Management experience
- PMP credential
- Proficient with budget management and analysis 
- API 653, 570; ASNT VT, MT, MT
- Minimum of IRATA Level I certification or knowledge

-  Ability to work long hours as required, with extended duty assignments
-  Maintain electronic files and paperwork in an organized and intuitive manner
-  Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills that include good listening, providing clear direction, and effective feedback
-  Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
-  Self-motivated and able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
-  Ability to develop and sustain collaborative and productive teams with co-workers and clients
-  Good working knowledge of tools used for industrial oilfield work
-  Ability to pass a criminal history screen and pre-hire drug screen
Working Conditions:
Work involves frequent use of computer and telephone. This is a salaried position.  As required, certain periods of overtime and addressing important weekend or evening calls should be expected. Must be available to travel to remote locations to visit job sites for varying durations of time.
Physical Restrictions:
May require light physical effort such as stooping, bending, reaching and occasional lifting of lightweight objects (up to 25 pounds).  Must have finger/hand dexterity to allow accurate computer data entry, analysis and documentation.  Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
