Position Summary:
The Inspection Superintendent provides strategic and day to day leadership and is responsible for overall project execution; includes but is not limited to coordination of daily NDT inspection systems to improve existing standards and methods, ensuring scope, budget and schedule are aligned throughout the projects; develop plans aligned to the project's objectives; implement plans to ensure customer requirements are achieved; review plan execution making appropriate adjustments and resolving issues; monitor and briefs KPI metrics to ensure performance to plan; assign tasks, ensure proper resource utilization, and effectively coordinate all team actions; attends meetings with clients, reviews and approves changes, and issues reports. This position reports to the North Slope Manager.

Essential job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
1. Demonstrate and ensure an overall commitment to Safety, Integrity, and Trust.
2. Identify methods of improving overall productivity. Evaluate inspection techniques to promote possible cost savings.
3. Maintain and ensure the accuracy of all NRC Radiation records, reports, forms and surveys.
4. Understand the inspection methods, be able to perform these methods and/or provide technical support as needed to inspection crews.
5. Manage personnel development and discipline.
6. Ensure that execution of work meets or exceeds client expectations and goals.
7. Develop cohesive work crews by providing supervision, equipment and technical assistance as required to complete the project on schedule and within budget.
Skills:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of corrosion evaluation and integrity management preferred.
2. Proficient with computer usage especially in Microsoft office software applications.
3. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively in front of groups.
4. Must possess the ability to work independently.
5. Must possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Alaska oil industry experience preferred.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum 10 years’ supervisor or management experience.
2. Minimum 5 years in the NDE industry.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. 5 years project management experience
2. PMP certification
3. Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience

Working Conditions:
Work involves near continuous use of computer terminal and may require sitting for extended periods. Overtime will be required. Work extended hours in sub-zero temperatures.

Physical Restrictions:
May require light physical effort such as stooping, bending, reaching and occasional lifting objects (up to 70 pounds when required).
The overall physical health of the Individual should be well enough to allow them to:
1. Lift 50 pounds from ground level to chest height.
2. Work and walk on uneven surfaces.
3. Climb ladders to pipe rack heights.
