The Project Manager – North Slope, Alaska will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and management of all Mistras activities for a project located on the North Slope of Alaska. The Project Manager will develop and implement management, planning, and cost control systems. The position is also ultimately responsible for executing the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for the project. The Project Manager will provide the client with full customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with all Company policies and procedures. This position will ideally be based in Alaska and will require travel to remote job sites and consistent presence in the Anchorage office. Relocation and/or travel assistance is available to qualified candidates.
Skills:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

Responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and management of all Mistras activities for the project.
Maintain a strong relationship with the customer and all assigned Mistras employees.
Provide direction and goals for the on-site supervisors that are in alignment with performance management metrics.
Enforce execution of all company and client policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
Develop and implement site specific policies in partnership with Human Resources and Operations as needed.
Assure proper performance management metrics are generated, agreed upon, communicated, utilized, maintained, and adjusted as needed to align Mistras objectives with those of the customer.
Maintain a safety conscience work environment with an exceptional HSE record.
Maintain adequate staffing and resources to ensure project completions.
Demonstration of strong leadership by being accessible to all employees, customers, and Mistras project support functions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated best of class emotional intelligence and communication (written and verbal) skills
Prior project management experience
Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management toolbox in accordance with the PMBOK
Strong mechanical integrity experience
Strong NDE experience
PCMS experience is preferred; IDMS experience is required
Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Project)
Engineering, Technical or Business Management degree is preferred


ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
