One of ShawCor's six business units is Shaw Pipeline Services, a leader in state-of-the-art ultrasonic (UT) and radiographic (RT) testing services for onshore and offshore pipelines. Our growth and global reputation in the use of innovative technology, has created the need for the following positions globally:

RT TECHNICIANS
RT Level II Certification in a pipeline or fabrication setting, must have either gamma or x-ray experience or both. Must have experience in Dark Room management and operation with the ability to use SPOOLS when developing film, not film hangers. Must have a current, in good standing, Radiographer card from Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois or ASNT or other stste cards as long as the reciprocity state recognizes it. Prefer Certification in both Gamma and x-ray. Must have the ability to supervise and train assistants when needed. Possess a stable work history, have a current license and clean driving record and follow safety and company policies set forth by Shaw Pipeline Services and the client.

SCANNER TECHNICIANS
The Scanner Technician provides an interface for the AUT Operator who conducts ultrasonic scans of girth-welds. He makes adjustments to the ultrasonic scanner head as instructed by AUT Operators to ensure recognized standards are met. Scanner head maintenance and troubleshooting is required using mechanical skills. Training will be provided.

Job location is Nation Wide. Relocation not necessary
