ZETEC introduces the DYNARAY® Lite: High-Performance Phased Array UT System

(Québec, Québec, Canada) – ZETEC, Inc., the total solution nondestructive testing (NDT) provider for the Power Generation industry, is proud to introduce the DYNARAY® Lite, a smaller and lighter version of the renowned DYNARAY® high-performance phased array UT system. With its 64/64PR channel configuration, the DYNARAY® Lite is 50% smaller than the previous models without any compromise on the performance: 200 V pulser voltage at 50 Ω, 16 bit amplitude resolution, bandwidth from 0.25 to 20 MHz at -3 dB, and up to 30 KHz pulse repetition frequency.
Driven by the industry-leading UltraVision® 3 software, this equipment can generate data files up to 20 GBytes at a maximum data throughput of 20 MBytes/s. By handling up to 4,096 focal laws, it allows the user to fully benefit from the versatility of 2D matrix array probes. The DYNARAY® Lite offers improved inspection capability on complex and wavy surfaces. Owing to its raw processing power, the system supports position dependant focal law groups providing optimized focal laws as a function of probe position. The DYNARAY® Lite offers the best of both worlds: high-end technical specifications in a small package.
