AGC Aerospace & Defense is pleased to announce Veracity Technology
Solutions has recently expanded operational capability to reach international
customers.
"We are proud to have grown our capabilities to a point where it makes
economical sense for an international customer base to utilize Veracity as its
nondestructive inspection provider for gas turbine inspection needs," stated
Kevin McKinley, president of Veracity Technology Solutions.
Veracity recently completed a "Return to Service" inspection on a General
Electric Frame 5 Turbine at the Turboaleaciones S.A. de C.V. facility in Las
Piedad, Mexico. Veracity performed a volumetric linear array inspection with 3-
dimenesional modeling of the turbine wheels as well advanced eddy current
inspection of the turbine wheel serrations.
While Veracity continues to experience tremendous growth domestically, the
entry into the global marketplace will grant currently untapped revenue streams
by being able to support international operations at a price point that is
competitive with in-country resources.
Veracity develops customized nondestructive inspection solutions for aerospace
and defense and power generation systems. Veracity technicians use proven,
proprietary technology to check for defects or potential problems – on
applications such as, wings, rotor blades, and landing gear. The methodology
and technology help customers extend the service life of high-value assets,
lower inspection costs, and eliminate hazardous processes.
