SGS Acquires Australian Radiation Services Pty. Ltd.

SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Australian Radiation Services Pty.
Ltd. (ARS) in Melbourne, Australia.

ARS is Australasia's leading provider of radiation calibration, monitoring,
testing and consulting which provides innovative, practical and cost-effective
radiation protection solutions. With its 20 highly skilled staff and a new state-
of-the-art laboratory, ARS sets a platform for further development in radiation
services within the SGS global network. Founded in 1996 and privately owned,
ARS generates revenues in excess of AU$ 6 million.
