MISTRAS acquires materials testing company GMA

MISTRAS Group, Inc. announces the acquisition of the GMA-Group (GMA-
Holding AG), an established leader in the field of quality assurance, non-
destructive and destructive material testing, and engineering services. With over
twenty-five years of experience and over 500 employees, operating from eleven
technical and testing centers located primarily in Germany, and with additional
offices in the Netherlands and Spain, GMA serves its large national and
multinational customer base in the aerospace, automotive, power and
petrochemical industries.

For MISTRAS, GMA represents the company it has been seeking to establish its
presence in Germany and to strengthen its overall position in central Europe
and beyond, especially in the aerospace market. Combined, MISTRAS and GMA
together employ over 1250 persons in Europe, immediately becoming the only
"one source" solution provider for both non-destructive and destructive
advanced services, products, systems, and engineered solutions in Germany.

Following the acquisition, GMA-Group has been officially renamed to MISTRAS-
GMA. Udo Klibingat will continue to lead MISTRAS-GMA as their Managing
Director and will hold the position as the Head of German Operations for
MISTRAS Group, reporting directly to Dr. Sotirios J. Vahaviolos, Chairman and
CEO of MISTRAS Group, Inc.
