TeraView, the pioneer and leader in terahertz solutions and technology, has
been chosen to supply systems to the Georgia Tech-CNRS laboratory in Metz
and the LOMA laboratory at the University of Bordeaux 1. The systems were
selected due to their superior performance, ease of use and the Company's
track record with its existing customers.

A TPS Spectra 3000 system will be located at Georgia-Tech Lorraine in the
Georgia Tech-CNRS Unite Mixte Internationale 2958, an international joint
laboratory between the Georgia Institute of Technology and the French Centre
National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Professor David Citrin is in charge
of the laboratory and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of terahertz
physics in imaging and non-destructive testing of various materials.

The second TPS Spectra 3000 system will be delivered to the Laboratoire Ondes
et Matière d'Aquitaine (LOMA), a joined research unit of the University of
Bordeaux 1 and CNRS. Professor Patrick Mounaix, who is the director of
research at the Short Laser Applications and Materials (SLAM) group at LOMA,
will utilize the system for postal inspection and other materials characterisation
requirements. His expertise in terahertz imaging and time-domain
spectroscopy has delivered significant contribution to the research of THz
applications in solid state physics.

These sales strengthen TeraView’s links with world-leading THz researchers
and key opinion leaders. ‘The addition of two premier French laboratories, with
truly international reach, to our list of collaborators is an exciting opportunity
to enhance the Company’s technology footprint across Europe and beyond ’
said Dr Don Arnone, TeraView CEO. The sales add to the Company’s growing
base of clients and helps strengthen its position as the market leader for
terahertz systems.

About Terahertz

Terahertz waves sit in the spectrum between Infrared and Microwave and as
such have unique properties which enables them to pass through/into objects,
and whilst so doing to transmit images and spectra which provide unique
information in a safe, fast and non destructive manner.

About TeraView

TeraView is the world’s first company devoted to the application of Terahertz
light for spectroscopy and imaging. A spin out from Toshiba and Cambridge
university in 2001 and employing circa 25 staff, TeraView has been developing
the technology across a number of applications including the semiconductor,
analytical and industrial inspection markets. The Company has over 70 systems
in the field with customers in over 20 countries. Headquartered in Cambridge
UK, sales and support are available throughout Asia, North America and the EU
either directly or through a network of distributors.
