Trinity Steel Fabricators Acquires Triton Vessel Manufacture

Trinity Steel Fabricators, Inc. announced today that it acquired Triton Vessel
Manufacture of Houston, Texas, an ASME pressure vessel fabrication business.
The purchase expands Trinity Steel's service offering to now include vessel
fabrication. The new division will produce pressure vessels, separators,
reactors, columns and towers for the upstream and downstream oil & gas and
chemical industries.
"The success of Trinity Steel revolves around operational excellence in metal
fabrication. With the acquisition of Triton Vessel Manufacture, we can now offer
the fabrication of vessels at Trinity process standards to our customers," said
Bill Moran, CEO of Trinity Steel Fabricators.
Brothers, Jason and James Lowry, the owners of Triton Vessel Manufacture, will
stay on after the acquisition and lead the new vessel division of Trinity Steel.
Jason and James founded the company in 2011 after almost 20 years in the
vessel fabrication, packaging and inspection industries.
"Combining forces with Trinity Steel allows us to make the investments in
facilities and equipment to expand our vessel production capacity to better
serve our customers," said Jason Lowry, VP of Vessel Operations at Trinity Steel.
The new division’s current capacity can produce ASME Section VIII Div. 1 vessels
of various configurations with facility-driven fabrication limits of 30 tons weight
and 12 feet in diameter. With the planned capital investment, the vessel size
capabilities will more than double in the coming year. The new vessel division
will target customers located in North America. From day one, the division will
carry vessel certifications of AMSE "U" stamp Certificate of Authorization as well
as a NBIC "R" stamp Certificate of Authorization.
