Dr. Ken Lau Announced as Keynote Speaker for NDT in Canada 2013 Conference

The Canadian Institute for NDE (CINDE) and conference partners CANSMART &
Fraunhofer IZFP are proud to announce their first keynote speaker - Dr. Ken Lau.
Dr Lau is Administrator of Pressure Equipment Safety of Alberta and Chief
Inspector of ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority in Alberta. Dr. Lau is
the first keynote speaker to be announced for the NDT in Canada 2013
Conference, held in Calgary, Alberta from October 7-10, 2013.
With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Lau is a very well-respected and
knowledgeable speaker who will provide insight into the burgeoning energy
industry in Alberta as well as discuss the roles all partners play in ensuring that
public safety is maintained at a high level.
The NDT in Canada Conference will focus on NDT for the Energy Industry and will
draw Smart Materials researchers and nondestructive testing professionals from
