Tecnatom attends for the ninth time the Paris Air Show event, with its own stand (Hall 1 F322) in the Spanish Pavilion organized by TEDAE (Spanish Association of Technological companies of Defence, Aeronautics and Space) in collaboration with the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade ICEX, which brings together more than twenty leading companies in aeronautics.

The aerospace division of Tecnatom will show at the 52nd edition of Le Bourget its portfolio of robotic inspection systems for quality control in aerospace manufacturing, of which there is already a large family with almost 30 references distributed worldwide.

Tecnatom Group celebrates its 60 anniversary this year, and almost three decades in the aerospace sector, in which it has developed its own technology for systems based on robots, NDT hardware and software, semiautomatic and portable equipment, among other solutions.

From 19 to 25 June, the Paris Air Show Le Bourget is celebrating its 52nd edition in the French capital, one of the most important international aerospace industry events. This year, it is expected that more than 150,000 professionals from the sector will visit it and overcome the figure of 2,300 exhibitors from fifty countries.
One of them is Tecnatom, which has already participated in nine editions including this one that now begins, and it is consolidated as one of the most veteran Spanish firms in this biennial fair.

The multinational engineering has its own stand (Hall 1 F322) located in the Spanish Pavilion, organized by TEDAE (Spanish Association of Technological companies of Defence, Aeronautics and Space) in collaboration with the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX). The Spanish Pavilion, which counts on more than 600 square meters, will bring together 24 leading companies in the aerospace sector, and will host the celebration of Spanish Aeronautics Day within the Paris Air Show 2017 next June 20.

The aerospace division of Tecnatom will show its robotic inspection systems for Non-Destructive Testing, of different scopes: manual, automatic or portable. Among its systems are the family of solutions based on robots Taurus, with its different variants: Taurus Single (mounted on a linear track), Taurus Twin and other more specific (with hanging robots), the solutions based on Cartesian gantry type Pegasus, in addition to other tailored systems that meet the needs of different customers. All of them aimed to carry out quality control in aeroparts manufacturing processes, by adopting important innovations and advances in components inspection, because they integrate different techniques (TTU, pulse echo, dry or ultrasonic inspection) and all hardware and software systems, security, data, etc. in one single production system.

Tecnatom will also show other semi-automated inspection systems, as its 3D-ARM, which provides flexibility and allows the inspection of components with complex geometries without needing more sophisticated and costly equipment. Tecnatom also includes its GEOID software in its product portfolio, which solves the problems of identification and control of the positioning of the parts for inspection, avoiding possible damages.

According to Ma Teresa Aguado, Tecnatom's Deputy Vice President of Technology and Product Development, "this new edition of the Paris Air Show is special for us because Tecnatom is celebrating its 60 anniversary, and we are in the best place where we can show the latest developments of our state-of-the-art own technology in the aerospace sector, which has allowed us to position ourselves as a reference supplier of of robotic and advanced NDT systems".
