Duncan Aviation Announces Mobile NDT Services in Salt Lake City Area

LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that the company is now able to provide aircraft owners and operators in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area with mobile Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services. Duncan Aviation’s certified NDT team is able to provide eddy current, fluorescent penetrant, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and optical prism inspections.

"The Duncan Aviation NDT team is able to test nearly every surface of an aircraft and a near limitless list of materials," says Chad Doehring, Manager of Airframe Maintenance at Duncan Aviation’s Provo, Utah, location. "They are called to locate cracks in parts before they fail, evaluate areas of corrosion, as well

as determine remaining thickness on materials. Now, we are able to offer mobile services from a launch office located here at our Provo facility."

Ray Vieselmeyer, NDT Mastertech, is the contact for the mobile unit located in Provo. He has 19 years of aerospace experience, with 17 years in NDT. He holds Level 2 certifications in all the NDT methods performed by Duncan Aviation. His NDT experience includes a variety of airframes from Air Tractors to Global Express aircraft. He also has special certifications for Dassault Falcon inspections.
