FIBERSCOPE announces the addition of the TRACER X20 floating pipe inspection robot to its product portfolio. The self-propelled, amphibious pipeline inspection system is engineered for use in flooded and surcharged sewer lines where standard crawlers are inoperable. Suitable applications include municipal wastewater inspection, industrial drainage, and large-diameter pipelines presenting water, mud, or silt obstacles that previously required dewatering prior to inspection.
Built to Go the Distance, Even in Big Pipes
TRACER X20 inspects pipelines measuring 24 to 157 inches in diameter (DN600–DN4000) and operates over distances up to 6,700 feet (2,050 meters) in a single deployment. The robot holds an IP68 rating, supporting prolonged fully underwater operation necessary for extended sewer and infrastructure assessments.
Here's what it comes with:
-HD PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) video with 10x optical zoom and full 360-degree camera rotation, so you can see the whole pipe, not just what's straight ahead
-Strong LED lighting is made for murky, low-visibility water.
-The rearview camera enables inspection in both directions.
-Optional sonar (acoustic imaging) and 2D LiDAR (laser scanning for spatial data), for when the water's too cloudy to rely on video alone
How to Get One
The TRACER X20 floating pipe inspection robot is available now through FIBERSCOPE. Full specs and details are on the product page. For pricing or a quotation, contact 1-877-613-2210 or visit fiberscope.net.
