This is S.R.G.PRABHU, an Indian citizen, with ASNT LEVEL III in RT and UT, with additional experience in AUTOMATED UT-AUT for pipeline girthwelds( both phased array and multiprobe). I am also a SENIOR CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR from AWS (SCWI-AWS). I have completed my training and examination in Middlesborough-UK recently in AUT-PHASED ARRAY DATA INTERPRETATION( for pipeline girth welds).
I am a POST GRADUATE IN APPLIED PHYSICS(M.SC).Currently I am finishing a project for STATOIL-NORWAY in persian gulf as CLIENT AUT SURVEYOR, OFFSHORE PIPELAY BARGE since Sep2006 till date.
Before that I was in SAKHALIN II PHASE II project, as a THIRD PARTY AUT AUDITOR offshore Sakahlin in SEMAC-I pipelay bargesince July 16th till date.The project is about to finish now.
Prior to this, I was in Nigeria, working in EXXON MOBIL EAST AREA PROJECT as aspecialist T,K,Y -UT inspector in the Technip site.
Recently I was a SHELL NIGERIA EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION COMPANY(SNEPCO) CLIENT INSPECTOR for their BONGA project, working as CLIENT AUTAUDITOR and SENIOR NDT LEVEL III /WELDING inspector in offshore andonshore Nigeria ,also in Paris -France ,Qualifying AUT/AUTOMATIC WELDINGcontractors' procedures , from 2003 to 2004.That was with RTD'S ROTOSCAN.
Before that I was a EXXON MOBIL CLIENT INSPECTOR in Nigeria for theiroffshore project 'MPNU RISER REPAIR' from 2001 to 2003.
I have 16 years experience in field of oil and gas project inRefineries, Petrochem, power plant ,Desalination, pipelines on and
offshore, deepwater J-lay pipe lay for SHELL BONGA, clad lines, SCR'setc .
I have worked in France,Russia, China,Angola, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Oman,Qatar, and India.
